Paul Lupinacci

About Us

Forte Ventures is the consulting practice owned and operated by Paul Lupinacci.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University.

In 1992 Paul helped start Changepoint, a Richmond Hill-based software company. Over the next 12 years Paul was part of the senior management team that grew Changepoint from a small services firm to a global enterprise software company. Changepoint raised capital in both Canada and the US and grew to 185 staff with annual revenues of over $30 million. Changepoint was acquired by Compuware Corporation in 2004. Paul’s responsibilities at Changepoint were Product Management and Operations.

The year of 2005 served as a much-needed sabbatical which allowed Paul to spend time with his family.

In 2006 Paul formed Forte Ventures to provide consulting services to technology companies. In early 2006 Paul went on to become COO of MedShare, where he was instrumental in guiding the company’s transition from a web development firm to a software product company in the home health care market. Paul worked at MedShare until mid-2007 and he has remained an advisor.

Paul has gone on to consult with software companies in a wide range of markets including human capital management and e-learning. Working with Hewick Research Inc, Paul has consulted with enterprise asset management and identity management vendors and helped several early-stage clean-tech businesses with their technology commercialization and funding strategies.
